In Sicily, taste is a culture.
This authentic holiday paradise is just 200 meters above the sea level: an ancient farmhouse that has recently been renovated preserving the typical Sicilian and Mediterranean style, with plenty of colors, white and bright shades, ornamental plants and scented bougainvillea. An astonishing overview of the Thyrrenian sea with the Aeolian archipelago, as well as Sicily’s mainland with Mt. Etna in the background, completes a delightful accommodation where the atmosphere is lively and familiar, and gourmet experiences are unforgettable.
Four rooms are available at the agriturismo, all colorful and rich in fine furniture and top facilities; a large terrace welcomes every guest for relax and fun, while the dining area will be perfect for starting a new day with a traditional Sicilian breakfast, or for enjoying a flavoursome dinner with local delicacies made with fresh products harvested from the farm itself – capers, figs, olives, herbs, vegetables and jam – as well as home-made pasta and bread, fresh fish and cheese and much more.

The Aeolian archipelago is composed of seven volcanic islands: a stunning natural paradise protected by UNESCO. Lipari - the largest island - is a true wonderland for scuba diving lovers, and there are plenty of interesting excursions available, as well as romantic cruises for couples. The centre of Lipari houses beautiful glamorous shops and cafés where the atmosphere takes you back to the old times of "dolce vita", surrounded by the scent of hybiscus and local seafood delicacies (especially fresh swordfish and lobster). Gourmet experiences include wines: the local Malvasia sweet wine will be perfect for dessert! And history lovers will be happy to discover the Sixteenth-Century castle built by the Spanish kings, as well as the archaeological museum where ancient exhibits show items and evidences from the Bronze Age.
The closest port is in Milazzo, Sicily: a lot of ferries (Siremar and NGI) and hydrofoils (Siremar, Ustica lines) connect the mainland with Lipari.
The ports of Reggio Calabria and Messina offer daily trips to Lipari (Ustica lines).
During summer, you can reach Lipari from the port of Palermo by hydrofoil (Ustica lines).
From the port of Naples various daily trips by ferry boat are available during summer; from June 1st to September 30th a hydrofoil is also available daily (Ustica-Snav-Alilauro lines).
The closest airport is in Reggio Calabria, connected with the port; buses connect the airport to the ports of Milazzo and Messina as well.
The airport of Catania is 150 km far from Milazzo: a bus is available from April to October, once a day; otherwise, you can take a bus via Messina or rent a car.
The airport of Palermo is 220 km far from the port of Milazzo; a bus takes you to the port of Milazzo, or you can choose to reach the port of Palermo via bus, or take a train to Milazzo, or rent a car.
You can come to Lipari by car: the ports of Naples and Milazzo offer ferries that can transport your car, but remember that during summer there are restrictions about bringing cars to the Aeolian Islands - you must stay at least seven nights in a hotel. You can reach the agriturismo by taking the country road towards Pianoconte, starting from the centre of Lipari; after three kilometers you'll find a road on the left for Monte - Pianogreca. Go down and then back up along the street until you reach the first houses, then turn right and keep following the main road for one kilometer. Then you'll reach "Fossa di Monte Giardina": go right for another 150 meters and you'll reach the agriturismo, which is anyway well indicated along the road.
