Masseria Corte di Noto
Have you already chosen which town you’ll visit first? And where you will rent your villa in Sicily?
Discover Noto and its Masseria Corte.
An enchanting overview of the Vendicari Nature Reserve from the top of a hill: this ancient Masseria will delight its guests with stunning panoramas and a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, just one kilometers far from some of the finest beaches of the whole island.
Masseria Corte di Noto is a typical 19th-century Sicilian manor farm, that has recently been restored with great care for top-quality materials: local white stone and hand-made terracotta, as well as the sandstone coming from Syracuse – a charming and warm setting immersed within a verdant, idyllic landscape and just next to the suggestive ancient Greek remains of Eloro.
The farmhouse is a place where the atmosphere is rustic, cozy and refined: hospitality here is essential, and true Sicilian culture can be experienced every day. Rooms are all wide and unique, just like their names (every room is named after a minor Sicilian island); wrought-iron beds, refined ancient furniture, antique details, beautiful Caltagirone ceramics… elegance can be perceived in every room. Every comfort is available: heating and air conditioning, mini-bar, SAT tv, private bathroom with shower, safe box.
Every corner and feature of the manor is rich in history and tradition. Breakfast is served right upon an ancient press for olives and grapes: here, a wise restoration has perfectly preserved the antique traits of the dwelling, perfectly combining them with modern supplies and details. The breakfast hall can be used as reading, meeting or TV room as well; the restaurant is tastefully furnished with top-quality wooden tables and chairs, and it opens onto a beautiful veranda overlooking the stunning Vendicari Reserve. And the cuisine is delicious and genuine, inspired by the ancient and multi-cultural cooking tradition of Sicily.

The charming town of Noto, in the South-Eastern area of Sicily, is world-famous for its invaluable Baroque architecture, UNESCO World Heritage Site together with other baroque towns of the Noto valley since 2002. This pleasant and lively town houses a stunning historic centre, made entirely of beautiful baroque palaces, houses and churches: this peculiar architectural continuity comes from the restoration of the city after the strong earthquake that struck Sicily in 1693. The ancient town was completely destroyed, and the new town was built a few miles away, with the clear intention of creating a splendid environment: and in fact, the architectural harmony and the urban planning are just perfect, and very hard to describe only with words. Nothing can explain the astonishing beauty of Noto better than a walk through the narrow little streets of the city centre, among golden stone buildings, fascinating façades and wrought-iron balconies that are considered the most beautiful in the world.
Beaches are also really wonderful here: from Calamosche to Eloro, from the Vendicari Nature Reserve to Portopalo di Capopassero and Isola delle Correnti (the southernmost point of Sicilian mainland!), the sea is clear and transparent, and the sand is white and warm.
