The weekly price includes the following services: final cleaning, change of bed linen and towels twice a week, utilities (electricity, water, gas), cot, welcome pack, WiFi internet. The following services can be booked on site for a fee: diving excursions, trekking trips to Levanzo and Marettimo, daily change of bed linen and towels, car and bike rental, a chef for preparation of dinners or for celebrations, transfer from airport to villa via limousine, transfer by helicopter from Palermo or Trapani airport to the villa, transfer by boat (also possible in the evening or at night) to Trapani, guided tours of Trapani, Erice, Segesta, Marsala, Mozia, Cantina Florio, etc, organisation of cooking lessons. Deposit (payable on arrival): € 1000
The island of Favignana is just 20 minutes by hydrofoil from the port of Trapani, in the west of the island of Sicily. Favignana spans 20 km² and offers 33 km of coastline in total. This fascinating island is also known as the butterfly island due its shape. It is the largest island of the Egadi Archipelago, and the only one with sandy beaches. Villa dei Sogni is just a few minutes away from the beautiful coves of Cala Rossa and Cala Azzurra. Favignana has a long history. Due to its strategic location, it has been conquered by many cultures. Whether Greeks, Normans, Phoenicians or Romans, all fought to colonise this island. The island of Favignana is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily, with turquoise blue sea, white sand and hidden coves. The highest mountain is the Monte Santa Caterina, with its own castle located there, which invites an ascent (302 m). From there, the view extends to the smaller neighbouring islands of Levanzo and Marettimo, where Levanzo’s architecture is reminiscent of Greece, and Marettimo still presents a diverse hiking paradise. Would you like to dive in Sicily? Favignana is also a favoured destination for divers and snorkellers. The island’s underwater world has a particularly rich variety of species.
