An enchanting vacation house at the sea in Sicily
Casa Solanto is a vacation house in Sicily, recently restored, with enough space for up to five people. It lies right on the sea at Solanto, with only 40 meters separating it from the crystal-clear sea water. Its swimming platform is perfect for children and surrounded by wonderful Mediterranean flora such as cactus pears and aromatic jasmine. Because of its location, Casa Solanto gives the impression of vacationing on a boat on the sea. The wonderful, large terrace with its beautiful view of the sea, lounge furniture, and outdoor barbeque are all ideal for having dinner outside and tasting Sicilian cuisine. This Sicilian vacation house at the sea is ideal for a vacation in nature, not far from the hubbub of Palermo, and yet it is centrally located for discovering the beautiful cities of Sicily’s western coast and their nature reserves. The villa’s new and tasteful furnishings offer the best possibilities for a Sicilian vacation. All rooms in the house have air conditioning, and dogs are also allowed. Access to the sea is provided only for vacationers staying in this small region and is not open to the general public. Therefore, the atmosphere is quiet and exclusive.

The village of Solanto can be found directly at the sea in Sicily, around 25 kilometers east of Palermo. Its old buildings have been lovingly restored, and this makes Solanto, a small section of Santa Flavia, a beautiful vacation destination in nature and at the sea, without compromising its strategic location for discovering the surrounding beautiful cities of Sicily. In this coastal region, lovely fishing villages such as Porticello and Sant’Elia are lined up next to each other, filled with colorful fishing boats. The Norman castle of Solanto and the adjacent, old tuna fish factory, set among a beautiful scenic backdrop, are also worth visiting. At Santa Flavia’s fish market you can purchase a wide selection of freshly-caught fish. In Bagheria and Santa Flavia, you can find beautiful villas that once belonged to Sicilian nobility, who used the villas as summer residences.
