Villa Rosa is located in Granelli, a pleasant suburb of the district of Pachino - a picturesque lively village best known for its production of sweet cherry tomatoes (try them with bruschetta bread and basil!). The seashore welcomes tourists with miles of tropical-style sandy beaches and transparent waters, especially within the Vendicari Nature Reserve, where unspoilt landscapes are just stunning; the seafaring village of Marzamemi is very picturesque as well, and is nowadays an elegant seaside resort with plenty of delicious restaurants serving the freshest seafood. The beach of Portopalo di Capopassero, the southernmost site of Sicily (and of Italy as well), is really beautiful as well: you'll be able to walk chest-deep into the water and reach a tiny little island with an ancient watchtower.
Together with beach life and typical local delicacies, this area of Sicily also hides extraordinary artistic treasures: the towns of the Noto valley, part of the UNESCO world heritage sites, are easily reachable. Here, historic centres are elegant and rich in refined, beautiful buildings.
The villa is perfectly placed in a beautiful beach. The neighbours are nice and the house has everything needed for an unforgetable experience. It's perfect for a family.
Dear Alfredo and Sandra, This is one of the best experiences that I've had with my familly on vacations. Thank you. Everything was perfect. Thank you to Signora Strano as well. Diego Muñoz August 2017
