Noto 

Located in the south-east of Sicily, Noto is a stunning city rich in palaces, churches, and breathtaking views of the coast.

Surprisingly, the city is made of honey-colored limestone and lies about 10 km inland.

It was completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1693, but thanks to the nobility, church leaders, and famous architects of the island, has been completely rebuilt.
