The two infinity pools are carved in the rocks, and guests can also enjoy the relaxing Jacuzzi.

The incredible harmonious architecture of these towns is really a must-see, from the stunning wrought-iron balconies in Noto to the beautiful San Giorgio cathedral in Modica - daily trips will be really delightful, and always accompanied by a taste of the typical local delicacies. The castle of Donnafugata is just a five-minute drive from the Relais: after a visit to the castle, you'll have the chance to enjoy excellent meals in its restaurants and elegant cafés.
As for daily trips, this area has plenty more to offer: archaeological sites such as the one in Syracuse and Selinunte, as well as the world famous Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, or charming hamlets such as Taormina. The baroque city centre of Catania is a UNESCO world heritage site as well, and Mt. Etna is also within reach: this is Sicily, a place where you can ski on the slopes of an active volcano in the morning and go sailing in the Mediterranean sea in the afternoon!
South-Eastern Sicily also offers a wonderful seashore, with miles and miles of the finest white sand, beautiful coves and idyllic scenarios. This area still has many unspoilt corners, which gives you the chance to choose your own "private" beach almost everyday: the closest one is Kamarina, but we also recommend the delightful bay of Punta Secca where sunsets are really stunning and you get to see the house of Commissario Montalbano - a famous tv series based on Andrea Camilleri's books. The sand is pure, and waters are clean: Marina di Ragusa, a beautiful beach just 40 minutes far from the relais, has been awarded with the "Blue flag" for its clean waters and environment; this seaside resort is also perfect for all those who enjoy a lively nightlife. And if you wish to discover more, you can take a daily hydroplane from Pozzallo to the island of Malta. Sports enthusiast won't be disappointed as well. Two golf courses are just seven kilometers away, and there are plenty of other possibilities - from trekking to cycling tours and horse riding, that can be organised near the relais or in the Aleppo Pine Nature Reserve nearby.Availability
